No Ride

Well no bike ride today! Way to darn WINDY! Couldn't even stand up straight outside! LOL Got in 30minutes of running and 30minutes of yoga! Still have 2 pts left for the day but its way to late now to eat anything. My back and legs are sore so I am taking some ibuprofen and going to bed!

A Long Ride

I just finished a bike ride that was 10.42 miles! If it wasn't dark out I would go do it again! LOL! OK maybe not. Also today got in 30minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of pilates. Today at work they had a tray of cheese and crackers setting out in the lounge. First time in there I avoided them, 2nd time I wasn't so lucky! I had a few, didn't "pig out" by any means but did enjoy some. In the end I think it will all be fine because breakfast was 4pts, lunch was 5pts and dinner was 3pts. So I think there were plenty of points to cover the cheese and crackers! OH my 3pt dinner! Mexican pizza...flat bread 1pt, 1/2cup fatfree refried beans 1 pt, 1/4cup fatfree cheddar cheese1pt, salsa 0pt and lettuce 0pt. YUM!

Back2Back Running

I did it! I ran yesterday and today! Back to back days and made it all 30 minutes both day! However todays run was a little slower than yesterdays, yesterday my sprints were 7.5 and 8 today they were 6.5 and 7. BUT I did it and it was still very intense and for sure got my heart rate up! Also got in a walk, 30 minutes of yoga, and a 40 minute bike ride! Ate all my daily points today as well , last week I had 3 days where I was 4 or 5 points under my daily and I think that hurt me! I am still irritated and frustrated about the slow process and lack of big results but I am not giving up! I had that angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other shoulder all afternoon debating about doing the running today! Even in the parking lot of the gym and even when I first stepped on the treadmill I was debating with myself trying to talk myself out of it! But once I got started it was on! I wanted to complete it and finish the entire 30 minutes! So I did!

Irritated

Well I did my measurements this morning, not good! Arms were no change, waist lost 2 inches, hip and thighs both went up!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!!!! Bruce gave me this line about replacement of fat with muscle....thats crap!! Muscle is leaner and take less room(density) than fat!! I have been so down about it all day! Whats the freaking point of working so hard and not getting results!!!!
Today was a waste on points, over ate and on bad choices! Only exercise I got in was 30 minutes of running!

Another Missed Goal

Well thats two months in a row now that I set a goal to reach by the last weigh in of the month and I failed to reach it! I maintained this week! No loss no gain! Considering how I have been feeling all week I am happy I didn't gain! But I am very disappointed that I did not make my goal of getting into the 170's by today! I know 180.8 is close but its not good enough! Tomorrow morning I am doing measurements, its been 2 months on that so I am hoping I see a big enough difference in those numbers that I can feel better about not meeting my goal. I am so damn frustrated and disappointed right now!!!

Last Chance WorkoutS!!

Well I made good use of my extra day off today! I started the morning with a 25 minute run! Normally its 30 minutes but since I ran yesterday that 25 minutes today was hard and the last sprint my ankle was hurting so I stopped early, ankle stopped hurting when I stopped running! Then I did 20 minutes of power sculpting with Jillian(Biggest Loser DVD). Tonight I went for a 45 minute bike ride, really wanted to go longer but Bruce went and he was ready to quit, Wimp!! LOL Then I finished the day with 20 minute of pilates! I am now officially ready for bed and if I dont loose weight tomorrow at the weigh in I will not be happy!

Back on the Workout Track

Well I gotta in my workouts today! Took a 30minute walk, did my 30minutes of running! and 30 minutes of yoga! I wanted to go for a bike ride but again the weather did not cooperate, this time it was the hurricane winds that were blowing! I still have 3 points left to eat but its way too late now so those points are not going to be eaten! Tomorrow is no school! Wohooo! 3 day weekend! So I am going to get up early and head to the gym for an extra running day this week! Still feeling bloated but not was bad as yesterday but the scale still shows one pound up so maybe the extra running will help sweat out that fluid!

Not What I Planned

Well I was on track with my points today as normal so thats good, but my workouts were not what I had planned! I planned a walk, weights, pilates and bike ride! Well I got in the walk and pilates! On the way to the gym Bruce called and he just had to have help mowing the yard, oddly enough I never need help when I am doing it! Anyway, so I went home and helped, then he decided he needed to trench an area in the yard that is higher ground to run off water(we have POOLS of water when it rains) Well of course right on cue with Texas spring weather as we were trenching the thunder and light show began! SO THERE GOES THE BIKE RIDE! I was NOT a happy camper today! I am feeling so "fat" this week! My knees and ankles are achy and my fingers are swollen, the scale showed a one pound gain this morning! I am retaining fluid like a darn balloon! GGGRRRRR!! Not now! I just need one pound down this week to make a end of the month goal! I am so frustrated right now I want to SCREAM!!!!!

Slower Sprints

Man I was NOT feeling my run today at all! I had to slow down my sprints to 7.0, only got one in at 7.5 and one 15 seconds at 8.0. Not sure what that was about! Whatever it is I hope it doesn't last! Also got in 30mins of yoga! Which I am really beginning to enjoy especially after running! Again a good points day! Was going to go for a bike ride but Bruce is on his way home from Kansas and should be here soon so I am going to go take a shower and......well...I leave the rest to your alls imagination!

Monday

Good day! Ate with in my points, but I did eat an english muffin at 9:30pm! I try not to eat after 7 or 7:30, but I was too hungry to ignore it and it was only one point, a point from my daily points I hadn't used anyway! I got in a 30m walk today, 30m weights at the gym, came home and did 30m of pilates(Which I will be feeling in the abs tomorrow!!) and tonight I got bored with TV so I went on a bike ride for an hour which ended up being 9.25 miles! Got in way more than my normal 64oz of water today too, was feeling really thirsty for some reason! I doubled my water intake probably will be floating away all night! LOL!

Feeling good

Saturday I actually felt good for the first time since early March. I am finally over whatever Shawn and I had. I still don't have hearing, but hopefully my eardrum will heal. I have been doing good on eating. I had a Kashi bar for breakfast and a chef salad for lunch. I did get quite a bit of exercise in over the weekend. Now, on the down side, I am only down 7 lbs. I have gained the rest back. I have all of the women in my family starting the "couch to 5k" running program this week, so I hope to have it off again.

Another Week

Started my week off on the right foot! Went to the gym for my 30 minutes of torture running on the treadmill, split my sprints between 7.0 and 7.5, did push out 3 15 seconds of 8mph! Crazy! Then came home and did 30minutes of yoga~ Changing my running days this week because there is no school on Friday so I may not make it to the gym, may spend the day actually doing something FUN with Bruce! Still have about 4 points left for the day so I am off to get something to eat. Was going to go for a bike ride but its way to windy today! Will go tomorrow!

YES~!

WOW I was shocked at WW today! I lost 2.8!! I am now over 15 pounds gone! Still a long way to go but I WILL get there! I really think the biggest difference for me this week was I cut out extra sugerery snacks and diet soda! Today I am chillin!! I am going to relax and enjoy the day and get started again with the workouts and everything tomorrow!! One more pound and I am out of the 180s, 4 more pounds and I am at WW 10%

Friday Again

Loads of Activity!

You know I really wasnt in the mood to work out today but somehow I managed to earn 5 activty points! LOL Took a walk(1), lifted weights(1)rode my bike(2) and pilates(1)...then I spent 2 hours dodging tornados! Locked in the bathroom with no fresh air with 5 dogs! NOT FUN! Bruce is still in KS and has Max with him. Now I am just going to bed........

No Ride

LOL I did not ride my bike today! LOL Not that I didnt want to! I would have suffered through the sore behind if the weather would have cooperated! It was so windy it would have blown me over! I took at walk and I had a hard time keeping upright through that I would have for sure crashed and burned on the bike. I did get in my 30m running tonight, I did all of my sprints at 7mph, I even managed to bump it up at 8mph for 15 seconds! LOL almost killed me though! I was concentrating so hard on moving my feet that fast that I think I forgot to breathe! LOL Also got in 30m of yoga which I am really beginning to enjoy! Right on track with eating, didnt really have the chocolate cravings today but I was fighting the emotional eating this evening. I managed to hold it off....for now! If I can only hold it off until Saturday I will be good!

Bruised!?

OK so I rode my bike 3 times on Sunday, once yesterday and for an hour today! I am gonna let you all guess what part of me is bruised!? LOL! Ouch!
Anyway...right on track today with points, fighting the chocolate craving demons today in a big way but managed to fight them off so far! Its a combination of its almost that time and also today Bruce said he probably wouldnt be home until Sunday when he was supposed to be back Friday so I was feeling sad and lonely again!
Got to the gym for some weights, rode the bike and got in some pilates!
On a sidenote....I was supposed to take measurements on the first of April and I never did, and now that April is half over I am going to just weight a few more weeks and do measurements the first of May,after two months I would expect some bug differences!

Nite Rider

OK I ate exactly my 23 points today and with all the activity I got in I thought I would be hungry but I am not so I did not eat any activity points. I got in a 30m walk and what an awesome day for one too, then I got in my 30m running(HIIT) almost killed me but I finished! LOL then came home and got in 30m of yoga. You would think that would be enough but not tonight! I came in here to post and Tonya had already posted, after reading her post I felt a little motivation. So I though I can sit here and post and then sit on my a$$ and watch TV or I can go do something! So I went on a 25m fast paced bike ride! I LOVE riding at night! Its so peaceful and calming! So now after riding I am here posting and now I can go watch TV! LOL!

Let's start with this weekend, Ok so the weigh in was not so good, but that's OK because I really haven't been good for the last month and I'm changing all that now. I exercised 1 mile Sat, 1 mile Sunday took Rosie (our dog) to the dog park about a 1/2 mile from the house so 1 mile round trip. My little 6 year old neighbor girl went with me so she ran with Rosie so I had to power walk to keep up, so a good work out.

Today I went to the gym did 1 mile on the treadmill mostly walking but a little running, then did stretching, then 1/2 mile on the track. Next I came home and took Rosie to the dog park again. Went by myself so probably didn't go as fast as this weekend, but I already had a good mile and a half work out so that's ok.

I am going to hit the exercise / eating thing hard this week and if I don't see results on Saturday, I think I'll cry :( But I know that I'll see some change so no tears only smiles :)

ReBound!

So yesterday I did everything possible WRONG! bad food choices to the points of feeling sick and no exercise! Today I rebounded! I ate very healthy and totally on points and worked out! Took 3 bike rides. 20mintes over to Kathy's house, 40minutes with Kathy and home, and another 40minutes with my neighbor! MY BUTT HURTS! LOL Then I also got in 20 minutes of pilates tonight! Now its bed time!!

Small Loss

Lost .8 this week! I really thought I would have more than than but it is a loss! TOTALLY off plan as far as points go today! Not even close to being good. Actually at the point of feeling sick at al I did eat. No exercise today either unless you count shopping! LOL! Kathy you think we walked enough today to count for anything?? LOL!

Had to Slow Down

So today was a running day! I did it, but I had to slow down my sprints to 6.5 today! My legs were just to tired to go any faster. On my three running days the second one if always the best. The first is hard because it follows the weekend so its get started time again, and the third by the end of the week my legs are done! Also got in a 30 min walk and 20 minutes of pilates today! On track with points and feeling good about the weigh in tomorrow. Dont expect big numbers but I do think I will loose! I hope! Maybe?@! yeah I am confident cant you tell!?

Did Good at Dinner

I ate a low point breakfast and a low point lunch so I had 14 points for dinner at On the Border. I had 4 chips(which for me is a BIG deal) and then I had 2 tacos broken up over a bowl of lettuce. All totaled 16 points. I earned way more than enough activity points to cover those 2 points I was over so I think it was a successful dinner! I got in a 30min walk a 45 min bike ride ((with kathy!)) and 30 minutes of yoga! I am now exhausted and ready for bed!

BIG BUTT WILL TRAVEL

Well, I got a bike and started riding with Shelly and Bruce. Just bought last Sunday and that was the only day we got a chance to go together due to weather and "hair and nail appts" (I can try to look good even if my butt is sore). Actually felt good afterwards and the next day. Getting ready to go with Shelly in a few minutes. She'll probably ride me to death because SHE at Mexican at dinner. I haven't even had dinner and had Subway at lunch so why do I have to go through it - I guess that's what friends are for (grin). Going out of town next week, mother having shoulder surgery, so that will be a challenge but she and my aunts are exactly the healthiest eater but may I can inspire them. When I get back, I'll get back on the running program and on the bike so looking forward to it. Everyone take care and I'll check in when I get back.

7.0 all the way!

I just can't believe I am running at this speed! But today I did all my intervals at 7.0mph! Also got in 2 15 seconds at 7.5. My legs, no my hamstrings are killing me but its a good killing! LOL! Also got in a 30 minute walk and 20 minutes of pilates which really helped to stretch out my hamstrings! Ate one activity point today, was craving chocolate so I had a one point hershey stick! It was worth the one point! Tomorrow will be a eating challenge, two friends from work want to take me to dinner for my birthday that they missed going to another birthday lunch last week. We are going to On the Border,UGH Mexican! I am going to watch every little point all day so I can have a decent meal that evening! Thats the plan anyway so I hope it goes as planned!

I did it again

Back at the gym again today yea me! Did the 20 min run / walk ...walk 2 min run 1 all the way through the 20 min. Then after the treadmill I walked the track for nearly a mile at a pretty decent pace, so all together I went about 2 miles. Felt pretty good. Eating not bad, today was pizza hut pizza day at school so I had that for lunch with some veges and then chicken for supper. So the chocolate at work probably wasn't too good for me, but it sure did taste good, so it's good.

Been underground

Sorry, I've underground the last few days. I have been eating the lean cuisine meals and doing a lot of walking. Hopefully I can gradually get back into the exercise. I have been using my inhaler about 3 times a day, so I don't want to push it too much. Jury is still out on the new job. I don't know if I like it or not. So far it is really slow because it is a new position and no one really knows what they want the job responsibilities to be. I guess we will have to see.

Yoga

So I tried yoga for the first time tonight! Love it! Its an amazing stretch! Especially when you have sore muscles. Right on with eating points today, also got in about 30 minutes of weight lifting and a 30 minute bike ride besides the 30 minutes of yoga! I have decided that I am going to do pilates 3 days a week and yoga 3 days a week. They both are supposed to be really good for lengthing muscle for toning and for core(abs). Which I need BIG time!

I'm Back

Hello everyone sorry for my absence for the past month or so. Life just gets in the way sometimes. I stopped going to the gym and following the eating plan so rigidly. So consequently my weight has been going up and down over the past few weeks. I am now on two meds, one a hormone pill and the other antidepressent. I guess I did pretty well, was off all meds for nearly 10 months and didn't do too bad, but all of a sudden everything turned downward and I had to go back to the meds. I just have to tell myself that it is all right because I am feeling better now and more like myself so I guess it is all worth it.

So I went back to the gym today did the treadmill for 20 minutes it felt pretty good to get back to it. I walked for 2 min then jogged for 1 min. I'm proud of me and I don't often say that about me.

New Speed!

Well today has been a good day! Back on track! Eating right on points, did eat 2 activity points on a banana! so that was good! Took a 30 minute walk and did my 30 minute run(HIIT). All my sprints today were 6.5 to 7mph. Although I did push it up to 7.5mph two times for 15 seconds, that is about all I could do at that speed! It was killing me! I will keep working on it though. Also got in 20 minutes of pilates. Tomorrow I am trying something new, going to try some yoga! Never done it before so I will let you all know how it goes!

Well I started off good this morning, with a good breakfast. Went to the gym and lifted weights then we went to run a bunch of errands and that didn't go so well. I made a bad choice and ate at a hamburger joint! BAD! But I had a good dinner and rode my bike so hopefully not too much damage done just gotta be REAL good rest of the week!

A Little Change

Again today was a good points day! Some co-workers made me a cake for my birthday, but they were thoughtful in it, they made a angel food cake, no frosting! Very good and low points! Yeah! So todays workouts...a 30 minute walk, 30 minutes running and 20 minutes pilates. I changed up my running a little, I have been doing 30 second intervals, 3 sets of 5 minutes. Today I did 25 minutes of 45 second sprints(6.5 to 7.0) and 1 minute 15 second recovery! It kicked my you know what! But I loved it too! LOL! Sadistic I think!

So here we are again the eve of another weigh in. Stupid scale! LOL! Well for other results even though the scale is moving at a snails pace I am really loosing inches and toning! Today I put on a pair of jeans, 2 months ago I couldnt get them done up at all, 1 month ago I could do them up but they were so tight I could not breathe! Today I wore them all day, and they were comfortable! WoHooo!

Don't know when to STOP!

Good day on eating! Ate all my daily points but no activity or flex points! Right on track! Today I really intended on working out but taking it easy on the legs, yeah not so much! Here is the run down. Walked for 30 minutes, not too bad it wasn't a fast walk just an easy 4 laps around the track at school, went to the gym for weights but I did only upper body today to spare the legs, then I came home and jumped on the elliptical for only 20 minutes at a pretty good pace worked up a good sweat! At that point you would think I would stop. You think? I didn't, I ate dinner and watched TV but got bored and lonely so I went for a 30 minute bike ride(not so easy on the legs). I would have went longer except it was getting dark and I hit a bump that broke my headlight so I had to come back home...bummer! Got in 4 miles though!

Also decided to change my goal weight back to 140 from 130. The losses are coming so slow that to me 130 in not reachable at this time. WeightWatchers top weight for me is 141 my doctor said 146, so I am going for 140. Maybe when I finally get there I will re-evaluate and go for 130.

OverWorked Legs

Man my legs are feeling it tonight! Running on Monday, weights on Tuesday, and running today! My hamstrings are YELLING at me. I did some pilates for 20 minutes tonight and that really felt good! I haven't done pilates in a long time and I decided today I am going back to it at least 3 times a week! I have a Leslie Sansone DVD You Can Do Pilates, that is only 20 minutes going to stick with it for several weeks then move on to one of more advanced 30 minute DVDs. Its great for core strength and building muscle in that horrible tummy area! And I NEED that! I tend to neglect ab work at the gym because I hate it so the pilates will cover that! LOL! Running was hard today thought I would cough up a lung! Yeah not so pleasant sorry! But I survived it and I feel much better. I refuse to let this crap keep me down. If I was running a fever or taking antibiotics or something like that then maybe I would slow down, but I am too damn stubborn for my own good and Bruce is in Kansas so he cant stop me! LOL!

Triathalon

LOL Well not really but it made me think of one! Today I went to the gym and lifted weights for 30 minutes, came home and went for a 30 minute bike ride and then when I got home from that I did 30 minutes on the elliptical,my three events so to speak! Even though I felt like crap doing it! My chest is so congested all I want to do is sleep, which is what I did after all that! I collapsed and just woke up, going to take a hot shower and go back to bed! I was right on track with points to day, even allowed my self to have a small piece of cake at work. It was a co workers birthday so I saved my afternoon snack points for her cake. It was the smallest piece of cake I have ever had but well worth the points! LOL! And since I have my own birthday coming up later this week, I am sure there will be more cake to come, as long as I show the same portion control I did today it will all be good!

No loss no gain

Well, I have stayed the same, which I suppose is good considering. Has anyone else had this flu/brochitis stuff going around? I have had it for almost 3 weeks now and am on my second dose of antibiotics. I'm thinking I might get the flu shot next year. This stuff is awful. I'm so ready for warm weather and to feel good!!
