Goal for this Week

My goal this week is to loose 1.6 that will put my under 170 again! Hope I can do it! Today was a good day! Right on with points and did great at no snacking on junk at work! Yeah me! Rode bike to gym, ran for 30 minutes, lifted weights then rode bike home! Off to a good start!

Friday

Well here it is another Friday and weigh in day is just around the corner! Done great on points today even though I was very tempted by bad things! I did not give it! (went to the grocery strore hungry--not a good thing to do!) Rode my bike to the gym took a one hour pilates class then rode home! I was going to run today but the pilates class turned into half pilates and the second half yoga! I was so relaxed and feeling good I just didn't feel like running! So I didn't ! Hope I don't regret that tomorrow when its time to get on the scale~!

Last 2 Days!

Didnt get to post yesterday! OK day on points yesterday! Was planning on going to the gym but that didnt happen! I had to go help Bruce finish up a painting job! I was then going to go ride my bike when we got home! That didnt happen, its STORMED! We lost electricity for 5 hours! SO today, Good on points! And made it to the gym, rode bike there,ran for 30m, 1hr kickboxing class and ride home! A milestone of sorts...when I run I wear knee length running pants because for as long as I can remember when I wear shorts the ride up between the thighs! Today when running I wore shorts! Guess what!? No riding up!! LOL!

WorkOut Tuesday

I was right on with points today! Yeah~ It was a busy day for workouts! LOL Rode bike to the gym, ran for 30 minutes, one hour strenght training class, one hour yoga class then the bike ride home! You would think I would be exhausted but I feel energized and relaxed right now! Must have been the yoga!

Another New Week

Started Monday off good, hope it a trend that will continue through the week! Stay within points and got in the workouts. Rode bike to gym(its really starting to get HOT) ran for 30 minutes and lifted weights for 30 minutes and made the bike ride home! I am going to work extra hard this week I want to get to 25 pounds gone but this Saturdays weigh in! Just need 1.8 to get there!

Weekend

Wasn't the most on plan weekend! But then again when do I ever have a good on plan weekend! Ate out alot due to being busy! However that "busy" was spending about 9 hours both days working in the heat painting a friends house and shed! Up and down that ladder at least a 1,000 times! My arms ache from the painting and my back from using the paint roller on the shed walls. So despite the bad food choice I was very active! And Exhausted! Nite!

Will it be Down?

Well tomorrow is weigh in day! This morning I checked the scale and it was down one! Hope that and maybe more holds up tomorrow morning! Today has been a good day! Rode bike to gym, took one hour pilates class, ran for 30 minutes then bike ride home! Did good on points, just had 3pts for breakfast and 3 pts for dinner, lunch was more, but not bad. Went to lunch at Cotton Patch with Kathy and had a chicken strip salad! No dressing! Still still within points!

Better

So today was a better day than the last 2. No snacking at work! Yeah! Ate all my daily points and 2 activity points! Rode my bike to the gym, ran for 30 minutes then took an one hour kickboxing class that really kicked my butt! I am sore! Then of course the bike ride home! Time for advil and hot shower! Just hope its all worth it and there is a good pay off come Saturday weigh in time!

Another Bad One

When will I learn!? I managed to get through most of the morning of summer school without dipping into the snacks! Up to the last 30 minutes, then I folded! I had a handful of goldfish and about 3 chips! Not much but enough! Then tonight I let Bruce talk me into eating out at KFC! Again not bad just more than I wanted, I had the chicken strip wrap! So I probably ate all my activity points and a few flex points today! I rode my bike to the gym, lifted weights, ran for 30 minutes and rode the bike home! I have got to control the snacking at work! I must and I will!

Little Slips

Today was an OK day! Not good but not bad! For some reason I had the munchies this morning at work and had no control. Snacked on some cheddar cheese sour cream and onion chips. I had just about a handful of them thats all. Then I had 4 skittles! Yes 4 I counted them! Its a challenge at work, with the chips, candy and gold fish around for the kids to snacks and rewards. Points wise I ate all but 2 points(not tracking the snacks mentioned above) I earned 7 activity points, so I figure the snacking was covered by the 2 daily points and the 7 activity points. I rode my bike to the gym, took a one hour body blast class, and a one hour yoga class before the bike ride home. Tomorrow I am going to do anything I can to keep from the snacking at work!

Back to Work

So yesterday was not so good! Today has been much better! Back on track ! Ate all daily points and 2 activity points. Rode my bike to the gym, ran for 30 minutes, lifted weights for 30 minutes and rode my bike home. I am really hoping for a good week and a really good weigh in on Saturday!

Down One

Not as much as I had hoped for since I worked out so much this week, but I will take it because I still have some sore muscles. Sore muscles equals water retention which normally would show a weight gain! So I lost one thats good!

Flat~

The day started off good! Rode my bike to the gym, took a one hour pilates class, ran for 30 minutes then started the bike ride home! About 3/4 of the way home I got a flat tire! I discovered a bolt stuck in the tire! So I had to walk the last one mile home pushing the bike! What fun! Going to go get the tire fixed later today. Been on points so far today and I know I will finish the day on points. Its Friday tomorrow is weigh in day! LOL I never eat off points of a Friday!

Kickboxing

What fun! I took a kickboxing class at the gym tonight! It was a blast! Cant wait for the next one! I rode my bike to the gym, spent about 22 minutes working the inclines on the treadmill then the class, before the long ride home!LOL My legs are jello! Ate all my daily points today and 3 of my activity points! Been rather down all day decided to get on the scale this morning and it was showing a 2 pound gain! Whats up with that!?!?!?!! NOT happy right now!

Less sore!

Another good day! On track with points all day and of course got in the exercise! Rode my bike to the gym, power walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes at a 8% incline, then took a one hour body blast class before the bike ride home! I am still sore from the class on Monday but its getting better I think the class today helped work out some the soreness!

Double Work Out

I ate on points today and ate 3 activity points. Considering how many activity points I earned today eating 3 is nothing! LOL Started the day with a 20m bike ride to the gym, ran for 30 minutes and then took a one hour yoga class, then the 20m ride home. Then this afternoon, I took another 20m ride on the bike to the gym for a one hour body blast class then the 20m ride home again! For a total of 12 earned activity points today! I will sleep well tonight!

OUCH!

Today was a good day@! Ate on points nothing extra~! I rode my bike to the gym takes about 20 minutes, took a body blast class that has me saying OUCH! I took it last week in the evening be a different instructor, the one today is much tougher! My arms are screaming and my legs were shaking the whole hour. I was going to run after that but decided against it! So I just rode my bike home and that was a very long 20 minute ride considering the shape of my legs at the time! LOL! No pain no gain right!? Tomorrow I have a big day of working out planned if I can move when I get up! LOL

Back to Running

Wohooo! I can run again! Did a few 8pmh sprints today! Still used the inclines too, I really like putting the variety into it, plus I get a better work out out of it! I had the incline at 2 or 3 percent for the recovery times and the full sprints, the mixed it with some running at 5mph with the incline at 14 percent, straight up hill! My quads are killing me I ran this morning followed by some weights and stretching because I AM OFF WORK FOR THE SUMMER! I love working out first thing in the morning, but its biggest down fall is I am STARVING all day! It makes me hungry all day long when working out first so that is something I am going to have to work with this summer! Ate all daily points today and one activity point! Tomorrow is weigh in day again!

No Kickboxing

A kickboxing class was suppose to start today at the gym, I was looking forward to taking it all day! Well, they had to change it and it starts next week! I was so bummed! So I ran instead, lots of inclines and got up to 7mph with no pain in the foot! I like the incline thing it really gets my heart rate up, then I came home and mowed the lawn! Ate all daily points to day and one activity point.

Incline and Slower Speed

YEAH! I figured out a way to run with out pain! I slowed down the speed from 8 to 9mph to 6 to 6.5 mph but I increased the incline, randomly form 3 to 12 percent. I normally have it at .5 to 1 percent but for now that is too flat. I push off my toes and that is what hurts! At a higher incline I have no choice but to push off my heels and that does not hurt at all! WOHOOOO I am running again. It felt weird running at the slower speeds but man that incline kicked my you know what! LOL Right on track with point today too!

New Class

I took a new class tonight at the gym called Body Blast. Its a one hour cardio/strength training class using steps, bar, free weights and bands. I liked it! Then I came home and got in 30minutes on the elliptical. I dont know when I will be able to run again. No problems all day with the foot until the body blast class, when doing some the high impact cardio I could feel it, much less than before but enough to know I cant run on it yet! This is very frustrating to me and really upsetting me! I want to run! I am just hoping that by next week I can!

BABY ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!

Tyler Jackson Sallee has made his arrival this morning. Weighing in at 9 pounds 6 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long! Lisa does not believe in having small babies, Treyton and Conner were also over 9 pounds and 21 inches! Lisa had to have a emergency C Section due to very high blood pressure and Tyler was breached. Both are doing well!

Down 10 lbs total

I weighed and am down 10 lbs from when we started. I have been getting outside more and trying to do things in the yard. I am only eating 1 meal a day and having a mid morning snack and am staying full.

When Will I Run Again?

I had planned to go to the gym and try to run again today. Didnt happen. This afternoon when walking down the stairs at work I felt a "twinge" across the top of my foot again! So I decided not to try it yet. I went for an hour bike ride in the 90 degree heat instead! LOL Ate exactly my daily points today so overall a good day! I really want to start running again but I am just not wanting to injure the foot more than it already is! Patience is NOT one of my strong points so its driving me crazy! Maybe tomorrow!?!?!?
