HIIT

HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training. I have been doing alot of reading on this lately. This seems to be the way to loose body fat! Regular cardio at a constant steady pace eventually your body gets used to that and doesn't burn fat. HIIT is short spurts of low, medium and high intensity in a short amount of time to burn maximum fat! So I gave it a try today as it was my running day, so instead of just running at a steady pace for 25 minutes I spent that 25 minutes walking(very fast) for a few minutes then spent 10 minutes of 30 second SPRINTS!(wow I was going fast) and 30 seconds jogging, walked again for a few minutes then did another 10 minutes of Sprint/Jog intervals every 30 seconds. Eventually you start increasing the High intensity intervals to longer times. It was awesome! Great workout and it really seem to make the time go by faster! Its recommended that you do this for 20 minutes no more than 30 minutes each time for only 3 days a week. Too much will hurt not help! I am looking forward to the next running day so I can do it again! The straight running was starting to get boring making it even harder! I have new motivation now!
