Well, it's been a pretty good week. I have managed to exercise everyday except 1 so I'm feeling pretty good about that, on my way to the goal of running a mile. Eating was up and down but mostly up with good choices. The scale was also up and down, but tomorrow will be the real test. I think that I'm ok with which ever way the scale wants to swing. Except for the annoying chronic back pain, I'm feeling better then ever.
My back has bothered me for several month and over the past week it is getting worse. However, I really don't want to go to the doctor because I'm afraid he will tell me to lay off the exercise and I can't do that, if I do, I know I will have a hard time getting back to it.
What do you all think?

i know what you mean about the exercise issue..i would say just take it easy, keep walking and dont try to do anything much more than that for now...walking is great exercise the first time i did WW and lost 60 pounds walking was all i did! make sure you are stretching good too, i know the feeling of wanting to run i had to give it up when i had radiation just didnt have the energy but know i can, so give it time, keep walking and heal up before running or anything else!
Shel's right. Walking is very good for your back, also lying on the floor and slowly brining one knee at a time up to your chest is good for stretching and strengthening your back. Cold packs are also good on your back a couple of times a day. That is what I do for Shawn when he has lots of pain and it usually helps.
